OptumHealth Performance Indoor Triathlon Series
This indoor triathlon series is as close to an outdoor triathlon as one can get in the middle of winter in Minnesota. Swimming 500 yards, biking a 10 mile virtual course on their own bike and running 2 miles allows athletes of all levels to experience the accomplishment of multisport and to test their fitness monthly. Athletes will be able to use these events to prepare for their summer triathlon goals or as a baseline to measure their winter fitness. Come in and give it a TRI.

Manitou Triathlon
Ramsey County Beach, White Bear Lake, MN
The Manitou Sprint Triathlon is the first race in the OptumHealth Performance Triathlon Series. Since 1990, the Manitou Triathlon has been a must-do season opener sprint race for novice to elite triathletes. The Manitou run course was voted 2010 Minnesota's best run course by MN Tri News readers.
MinneMan Triathlon
Lake George Regional Park, Oak Grove, MN
The MinneMan Triathlon is the second race in the OptumHealth Performance Triathlon Series. This race offers a scenic flat course that is both challenging and rewarding. Voted three-time Triathlete's Choice Race of the Year (2008, 2007, 2006) by MN Tri News readers. New for 2012, MinneMan will host both its historic Sprint distance and a new Olympic distance event.
TwinCities Triathlon
Harriet Island, St. Paul, MN
The TwinCities Triathlon is the third race in the OptumHealth Performance Triathlon Series. "An instant Classic", this second year race was hailed as one of the most ambitious triathlons of 2011. Racers will once again race downstream in the Mississippi River, challenge themselves on the famed Ohio Street climb and run through Minnesota's scenic capital city. TwinCities Triathlon presented by OptumHealth Performance
Saint Paul, MN
Make History. This unique sprint or Olympic distance triathlon starts with a fast swim downstream in the Mississippi River. The bike and run courses provide challenging climbs, fast flats, smooth, wide trails and spectacular scenery through Minnesota's picturesque capitol city and surrounding area.
Advanced Level Sports Photography Series: How to go from a good shot to a great shot
Award winning photographer, Paul Phillips, will lead a two session series targeting those with a keen interest in further development of their photography skill. Paul will discuss the photo techniques and usage of a digital SLR camera to shoot triathlons and other action sports. In addition to photo techniques and skills Paul will also be discussing work flow efficiency and managing your images. Session two will include a review and critique of images the participants will shoot at the TwinCitiesTriathlon. Prerequisite - Digital SLR camera, Telephoto lens.

Swim Like a Pro Clinic
In partnership with OptumHealth Performance, Swim Like a Pro swim camps and clinics is proud to announce the first swim clinic series in Eden Prairie, MN on July 10, 2011. Guest coaches Sara McLarty and Misty Becerra along with OptumHealth Performance coaches will be welcoming athletes of all levels to come improve their personal swim technique and open water skills.
There are two clinics, an Open Water clinic and a Pool Clinic. You can choose to attend one or both. The clinic content for each clinic builds upon and complements the other clinic. BEST VALUE: Register to attend both the Open Water Clinic and the Pool Clinic and receive a $25 discount at checkout.

Entry Level Sports Photography Series: How to take a great triathlon photo
Award winning photographer, Paul Phillips will lead a three class series that will enhance participants photography skills enabling them to take great triathlon photos, regardless of current skill level. These sessions will include information that will help those who have single lens reflex cameras as well as those who have point and shoot cameras. Sessions two and three will include a review and critique of images the participant's will shoot at local races. Prerequisite is a camera and a desire to make better photos!

OptumHealth Team in Training - CYCLE TO CURE CANCER
Join us at OptumHealth Performance in Eden Prairie for spinning classes, tours and fun on Sunday, April 10. Explore the state-of-the art fitness facilities and learn about how our own Team In Training is raising money to fight blood cancers on behalf of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Performance coaches Jonny "J" Jensen and Scott Beesley will lead two challenging classes—one for beginners and another for advanced cyclists. We'll provide training, refreshments, giveaways, fitness-focused auction items, sports nutrition consultations and fun. All you have to do is bring your own bike (for the provided Tacx wattage trainers).
